Source: Ana Luisa Cid
Date: November 17, 2007
According to a report from Alfonso Salazar, a sighting took place over MCIA between 13:00 and 13:15 hours on Friday, November 16, 2007.
Airport personnel particularly those at the Aviacsa PGR hangar and others near Runway 6 witnessed a white flying object that remained static at 8000 meters toward the south of the Mexican capital.
The witnesses report that at aproximately 13:10 hours a Boeing 737-800 passed near the object as it flew from west to east at an altitude similar to that of the possible UFO.
Weather was good, with sunlight and blue skies. The object began to rise into the air toward 13:15 until it lost itself from sight. Researcher Salazar believes that it could not be a weather balloon, as these are launched at 5 am and 5 pm (during winter hours).
