Argentinean Navy Releases Documents Regarding Necochea UFO

The Argentinean navy released a series of documents related to the UFO sighting of Necochea in 1962. The documents present the story told by a motorist who was chased by a flying disc around La Dulce.

CEFORA recently published an article disclosing details of an important UFO sighting that took place in that city nearly 55 years ago.

On August 29, 1962, Osman Alberto Simonini told his story about a UFO encounter near the 28 Km marker on Route 86. Simonini was on his way, leaving La Dulce, from the "Malabrigo" farm owned by Ernesto Arias. The case became widely known through an article in Ecos Diarios: The Navy commission launched an investigation through Captain Omar Paganini and the case now forms part of the private files of [researcher] Roberto Banchs.

The incident took place around 8:10 pm, as Simonini drove at low speed and became aware - looking to his left, following his vehicle on a parallel trajectory at a distance of three meters and two meters above - of an "artifact" looking like two plates connected on their widest edges, gunmetal-colored, measuring approximately 5 meters in diameter.

The object projected beams of green and blue light from its lower section. The beams were two meters wide, according to the description.

Simonini says the artifact escorted him some 200 meters. The motorist was also able to see the grass moving as well, this being proof of its low altitude and some sort of "air or energy" expelled from the object's lower section.

The object sped ahead some 200 meters, cutting him off some 600 meters ahead, near the road's shoulder at low altitude. Upon reaching the 26 Km. marker, the object executed a sharp 90 degree turn into the cultivated area. Simonini followed it and saw the object hover at a distance of less than a meter. He stopped and tried to approach the fence that separated the field from the road, placing his hands on the wiring, discovering as he did so that the metal was quite hot. He moved his hands away, only to find that the wire was even hotter further along. He wandered a few metes along the fence until he could make sure the wire was entirely cold.

Two minutes later, the object took off at high speed and vanished into the sky.

The witness reported his story to the Border Commissioner, the Federal Police Director, and officers of the Mar del Plata Air Force, with the support of writer Juan Jose La Terza, who claimed to have received the following reply when the incident was notified to the authorities:

"Authorities specializing in these studies advised me that there was nothing extraordinary about the event, as phenomena of this sort was already being accepted as real, and that the scientific establishment was waiting for the next step: making contact with these artifacts.

At the time, Guillermo Giménez (CEFORA member and a contributing editor to INEXPLICATA) conducted an exhaustive local investigation after Juan Jose La Terza had contacted him.

The article (in Spanish) along with other cases can be found at the following link:http://www.visionovni.com.ar/archivos/1332

The documentation includes the report written by La Terza, who acted as an advocate for witness Simonini.

Argentina: Regarding the Alleged CE3K Between Ensenada and Punta Lara

Argentina: Regarding the Alleged CE3K Between Ensenada and Punta Lara

It was with great secrecy that researchers of the UFO phenomenon in the region undertook their investigations into a case that is at first blush very striking. According to members of the Fundacion Argentina de Ovnilogia (FAO) there are witnesses who claim having encountered a humanoid in the morning hours of this past Monday between Ensenada and Punta Lara.

"Breaking News! An encounter with a humanoid in early morning hours took place between the locality of Ensenada and Punta Lara (Buenos Aires) with several witnesses. The case is under investigation." This was the brief message disseminated late Monday by renowned specialist Luis Burgos, who has spent his entire life spearheading such investigations.

Having contacted 0221.com.ar, the expert limited himself to cautiously reporting that research is barely starting and that there are no further details to provide beyond the information provided. "We have to wait, because research has only just begun. We need time. It's necessary to close a few loopholes," he said. Furthermore, Burgos took the matter seriously, cautioning that the "witnesses were highly reliable."

Last year, this website had already explained one of his hypotheses aimed at explaining the major UFO wave that took place in the area throughout 2018. All of this stemmed from last September's event in an empty field outside La Plata, when witness Cristian Yaon recorded the transit of a strange craft in broad daylight. We are dealing with the "Decimal Hypothesis", a matter of great relish for UFO researchers in the city, corroborating their forecast in 2017: that there would be a major increase in unidentified flying object cases in the skies, which would trigger in turn unexplained manifestations.

"Despite the fact that 2016 and 2017 were very, very poor in sightings, using the two great [UFO] waves of 1968 and 1978 would suggest a saucerian impact upon Argentina once more. We must be mindful, because a new wave brings with it a series of situations of all sorts in the heavens, water and earth," they had warned at the time, something which finally came to pass in 2018.

Furthermore, "statistics on the phenomenon suggest that every time a UFO flap occurs, all manner of events come about: sightings, mysterious impressions found in fields, humanoid sightings, photo and film recordings, mysterious skyfalls, explosions in the heights, undersea objects, etc. In 2018 we also find mutilations, which go hand in hand with saucer reports. For the time being, our decimal hypothesis stands firm."

What does the hypothesis state? Using FAO's database as its support, it is based upon two basic points: First that a considerable part of the phenomenon - between 40 and 50 percent of cases - returns to the scene of the events. Secondly, out of these 'repeaters', a significant portion occurs in ten-year cycles. For example, a UFO reported at a certain place in 1968 will return to the sighting location in 1978, 1988, 1998 or 2008. And this is what happened last year. Now, only 22 days into 2018, the mystery has appeared yet again.

The case involving an alleged close encounter of the third kind being studied at this moment between Ensenada and Punta Lara can perhaps be related to this theory, although it is still too soon to draw any conclusions.

Argentina: Musician from Los Alfiles Allegedly Photographed UFO at La Banda

*From the backyard of his house. This occurred minutes before the storm on January 9*

Francisco "Pancho" Zamudio, a member of the tropical music group Los Alfiles, claimed having photographed a UFO in La Banda.

"It was on January 9th of this year. I was drinking mate at home, went out to see the clouds that were taking shape and took some random photos. I wasn't aware of anything at the time. Just this past Saturday, looking through the images, I noticed a black dot. I sent them to a friend who works on radio and he downloaded them to his computer. Upon zooming in, he discovered this thing, and we were truly startled."

Alfonso Salazar: Close Encounters Between Guatemalan Pilots and UFOs

Alfonso Salazar: Close Encounters Between Guatemalan Pilots and UFOs
Category: Otros Mundos (Other Worlds) Originally Published 06 Sep 2011 – 6175

Civil aviation Colonel A.C., with Captain Carlos S. as his co-pilot, faced an unusual experience on February 14, 1967. It was possibly one of the first in UFO history in which an airliner crew and its commercial vehicle faced the mid-air collision.

Everything was normal that morning during the takeoff of an AVIATECA DC-4. The scheduled route was from the La Aurora International Airport in the Guatemalan capital to Benito Juarez airport in Mexico City.

Conditions were relatively good, as is customary for that time of year in the tropics. The propeller-driven aircraft was halfway through its itinerary and flying over the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Suddenly, Colonel A.C. saw a black, glass-shaped object right in front of his airliner’s bow. His co-pilot became nervous, even frightened. As the fine professional aviator he was, the colonel made a sudden turn and executed “raindrop maneuver”, in his words, to make sure what was actually there.

“We pilots are quite used to see things flying, even pieces of paper, at elevations of thousands of feet, but this was nothing known,” he said in an interview with Tele Sistema Mexicano, Chanel 2.

Colonel A.C. only held two interviews regarding his experience. One of them for Mexican television with Lic. Pedro Ferriz and another with Guatemalan broadcaster Cesar Romero of Channel 3. His interview in Mexico, matter of fact, was nearly two hours long.

In a private conversation with this author he said he would no longer speak publicly of the matter.

Encounters with the unknown involved another two Guatemalan pilots on a different route. Aviation pilots Oscar Ruiz M. and Julio A. Peña were heading toward Miami, Florida, over the Atlantic Ocean at 12,000 feet. Conditions were clear and with only a few clouds. Suddenly, at the two o’clock position (in the language employed by aviators to locate a direction according to an imaginary clock) they were able to see what looked like a sort of silver dirigible. “It was immense and clearly reflected the light of the sun,” said one of them. “We never lost sight of it. It was always there, apparently at our same speed. It vanished amid the clouds. It must have been the size of three or four commercial airliners together. It appeared to be piloted at tremendous speed.”

Col. Antonio B., Director of Civil Aeronautics in several instances, confessed having received countless reports from pilots in Guatemala who encountered the unknown. He himself had witnessed a glowing orange light that split in two – horizontally – over the department of El Petén in the northern reaches of the republic. “It was as if two vessels had taken off in different directions in the clear night through which they sailed.” He likewise told me how during his training period at a U.S. air base, firing at a given star during a training mission, one of these selected targets suddenly moved away at prodigious speed.”

The most recent encounter between airliners and UFOs in Guatemala is the case known as “Flight 510”, of which we have a tape recording of the exchange between a 767 pilot and the control tower at the La Aurora International Airport. The recording reflects the drama involving a crew that faced an unidentified flying object in front of its craft for 110 miles. But we will leave this case for a future article.

Argentina: Necochea Photographer Captures Strange Object Over Park

A strange flying object was photographed this afternoon near Villa Zabala by an amateur photographer bent on capturing images of an approaching storm.

The object flew past silently and at high pseed from Northwest to Southeast over Villa Zabala, crossing Avenida 10 toward the sea.

Juan Ignacio, 34, was returning from work on his bicycle when he paused for a few moments to photograph the incoming clouds. Upon reaching home and looking at the photographs, he found two images of the object flying over Avenida 10 and heading toward the sea. These images were taken shortly before sundown.

"At the time I heard nothing and saw nothing. It was only when I went home and downloaded the photos that I came across that shadow. I've no idea what it is," said the local, noting that the photos were taken near the crossing of Calle 155 and Avenida 10.

Both photos were taken in an instant, almost simultaneously, showing the prodigious speed at which the photographed shadow was traveling.

"Now I would like to have the photos analyzed to determine what it is: although it looks like a helicopter, I didn't hear a single sound...and no bird can fly so quickly," he added.

The gap between the two pictures was scarcely a few seconds, given that he took one photo, progressed a few meters, and then took the second.

Argentina: UFO Sighting in the Mountains of Mendoza

An Article by Luis Emilio Annino

Argentina: UFO Sighting in the Mountains of Mendoza

On January 5, 2019, we became aware of an unidentified flying object (UFO) sighting in the locality of Punta de Vacas (Department of Las Heras) in the high mountain area of Mendoza, thanks to Ing. Ariel Godoy, memeber of the Café Ufologico de Mendoza and a collaborating member of CEFORA (Comisión para el Estudio del Fenómeno OVNI de la República Argentina).

The main witness in this case is Leonardo Escudero, 43, a traffic control employee in Punta de Vacas, who mans the weight and size scales for trucks that are heading to and returning from the neighboring Republic of Chile.

He told us that his colleague, Luciana Ibaceta, 27, was on the road arranging the entry of trucks while he remained within the scale office doing his job. Around 10:50, Ibaceta called him on the two-way radio to ask him if he could believe she was seeing a UFO. He stepped out of the office, saw it, and immediately entered the office once more to reach for his cellphone and use the Flightradar24 app to ascertain that no flights were in the vicinity, as this is a corridor customarily employed by commercial airlines, located over Highway No. 7. No known flight was recorded.

Ibaceta's sighting lasted some 30 seconds while Escudero was able to see it for some 15 seconds until it vanished behind the mountains. Escudero ran across the trucking yard in an effort to follow the trajectory of the object with negative results. The object did not move in a straight line, but rather an ellipse, and its shape was that of half a cigarette, white in color. It was clearly visible to both Ibaceta and Escudero, as they both wore anti-glare sunglasses. Escudero noted that when aircraft fly over the area, their tails, wings and colors are clearly visible, but this cylindrical object was completely white. He couldn't estimate its altitude, although believes it to have been considerable, and its approximate size would have been - as a minimum - some 20 meters (65 ft) long by 5 to 8 meters (16-26 ft) tall.

The sky was completely clear and cloudless, Escudero added. This allowed them to see the object in detail. No turbine or motor sounds could be heard, nor gas or smoke emissions.

Furthermore, Escudero added this was not the first time something similar had happened to them. Both experienced a similar occurence last summer. He recalled that Mendoza's Diario UNO hard reported that two similar objects had been photographed in Viña del Mar (Chile) the day after that sighting.

Argentina: Oil Workers Photograph UFO at Las Heras

The photo was taken on Sunday night using a cellphone. The object's shape and luminosity caught the attention of derrickmen on a clear night in the northern area of the province. The UFO was clearly captured in the shot as it flew near Tower 07, property of the Quintana Company in the vicinity of the Santa Cruz locality.

Whether it is to be believed or not, the image remains eloquent. The only contribution made by the oilfield workers after taking the photo was make note of the area where a saucer shaped unidentified flying object had passed near Tower o7 of the Quintana company near Las Heras.

A worker took the photo with his cellphone, and he did not hesitate to try to set down what his eyes were unable to decipher. It was a cool, slightly breezy night with a completely clear sky. The shape and luminosity of an object that approached the area quickly and then vanished skyward with the same speed did not escape his attention.

Upon examining the thumbnails, he could not believe what his cellphone had recorded.

Argentina: UFO Reportedly Appeared During Cerrillos Windstorm

Argentina: UFO Reportedly Appeared During Cerrillos Windstorm

Strong gusts of wind were recorded this afternoon in the community of Cerrillos. Some claim that a strange object was flying in a southeasterly direction just in front of the storm.

Reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the skies over Salta had not circulated for some time, but only a few hours before the year was over, many citizens of Cerrillos witnessed a strange phenomenon as a storm brewed in the area - a weather event that ultimately did not occur.

At around 15:30 today, according to a report by Mabel, who lives at the entrance to the town, "one could see a funnel-shaped formation heading in a southeasterly direction. It widened and narrowed, like a tornado."

It was precisely at that moment, as wind gusts ripped laundry off the clotheslines in the community known as "la Capital del Carnaval", more than one tree branch was also torn along with the metal roofs of flimsy constructions, "it was possible to see a strange object - dark, metallic - right in front of the storm front, to the southeast."

What struck witnesses the most was that the object was self-propelled. It glided swiftly and with great agility in right angles. Mabel recalls running into her home to grab an iPhone 6 and record the phenomenon, but upon returning outside it was all over. All that remained were questions on what could have happened and the provenance of the strange "artifact" that crossed the skies of the Lerma Valley, vanishing along with the winds and the storm.
