Argentina: UFO Mystery in Puelches (July 2026)

 Mystery has once again descended upon the small town of Puelches, in La Pampa province, after residents reported witnessing a series of unusual phenomena. Accounts include strange lights in the sky, water tanks emptying without explanation, animal mutilations, and—most recently—the alleged crash of a flying object, fueling speculation about a possible UFO presence in the area. The town, home to fewer than 500 people, is living through a period of uncertainty. 

According to local residents, these incidents have been occurring for some time; however, speculation was reignited last Saturday when two locals claimed to see a strange object descend near a salt flat. Located 272 kilometers from Santa Rosa and nearly 900 kilometers from Buenos Aires,

 Puelches has become the focus of attention due to a series of events that many residents feel defy conventional explanation. Locals report seeing lights appear and vanish in the night sky, hearing unidentifiable sounds, and finding livestock with injuries featuring precise cuts. 

Accounts also center on the three lagoons surrounding the town—Urre Lauquén, La Dulce, and La Amarga—where residents claim to have witnessed striking phenomena in recent weeks. Those who frequent these areas for rural work, such as salt harvesting, state that sightings of lights hovering over the lagoons' nearly dry beds have become increasingly common. 

Some residents even claim to have seen a sort of illuminated city suspended above the countryside—an image they describe as an impossible mirage. While there is no official explanation for these events, stories continue to multiply among the people of Puelches, where the mystery has once again become a major topic of conversation, keeping the entire community on edge.
