Radio Nordeste listeners claimed to have seen a UFO—manifesting as intensely bright lights—that would hover motionless, move up and down, or suddenly vanish over various parts of Barranqueras.

A series of strange lights linked to a possible UFO sighting on Sunday night once again turned the eyes of Barranqueras toward the sky. On Tuesday, Radio Nordeste listeners contacted the program *Mañana es Tarde* to report seeing intensely bright points of light; some appeared stationary, while others moved in ways that—they insisted—did not match the flight patterns of an airplane or a drone.

One woman recounted observing the alleged UFO with her daughter; both were struck by the light's intensity. "It stayed perfectly still—an immense, very strong light—and then it moved like when you toss a plate; it just shot off and vanished," she described. Another listener, located in Barranqueras near the Eva Perón Hospital, stated that this wasn't the first time she had seen such a phenomenon; she had expected the light to follow a normal trajectory, but it remained behind some eucalyptus trees before disappearing.

A man who had gone fishing in the Tacuará area also shared his testimony, claiming that during the early morning hours, he saw lights linked to a possible UFO "moving up and down" over the woods. He explained that they were unable to take photos or videos because they didn't have their cellphones handy. Amidst the many accounts, one listener warned Romildo—our Canal 9 correspondent in El Impenetrable—to be careful, as "they were heading toward the woods." As the messages poured in, the alleged UFO became one of the program's main topics of discussion.

To add an expert perspective from the world of ufology, *Mañana es Tarde* consulted Jovino Canteros, who did not hesitate to offer his interpretation. "They are definitely UFOs," he asserted. He even offered a piece of advice that quickly drew laughter and surprise in the studio: "Don't investigate any of that stuff; it's very dangerous." According to his explanation, these alleged visitors possess habits and characteristics unlike those of humans and might appear in various types of craft.

Canteros went even further, warning—based on his own perspective regarding UFOs—that getting too close could lead to unexpected consequences. "If you come into contact with them, you'll never be the same again," he claimed. Amidst questions from the team and the relaxed tone of the conversation, the ufologist also maintained that these beings could communicate with people. The moment took an entertaining turn when a message arrived from a listener in Colonia Toro Mocho asking if he had "done the right thing by praying the Our Father when he saw the lights," adding a touch of humor to the mystery.

For now, there is no proven explanation for the alleged UFO or the origin of the lights reported by listeners. While there could be various causes for light phenomena observed from a distance, the accounts were enough to reignite a timeless question: what exactly was it that crossed—or hovered motionless—across the Chaco sky on Sunday night?
